A SPECIAL EVENING TO LEARN ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

Comparing the clinical practice of contemporary Freudian analysts with that of Interpersonal/Relational analysts, Donnel Stern, PhD, focuses on the difference between primary reliance on continuous participation in, and reflection on, mutually constructed, unconscious clinical process (the Interpersonal/Relational view), and primary reliance on the interpretation of unconscious fantasy (the contemporary Freudian view). Dr. Stern demonstrates the Interpersonal/Relational view by presenting a detailed clinical illustration.

Following Dr. Stern’s presentation, Seth Aronson, PsyD, Director of Training, along with faculty and Candidates, will lead a Q&A about our renowned psychoanalytic training program.
