All the material presented in this year’s colloquia similarly foreshadows a potential paradigm shift in psychoanalytic theorizing about the nature of consciousness itself.

ANTHONY BASS, PhD, is an associate professor and clinical consultant at the NYU Postdoctoral Program for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. In addition, he is on the faculty and a training and supervising analyst at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research, and a founder and president of the Stephen Mitchell Relational Study Center. He is an editor emeritus of Psychoanalytic Dialogues: The International Journal of Relational Perspectives.
SUZANNE LITTLE, PhD, is Supervising Analyst, Teaching Faculty, former Fellow of the William Alanson White Institute, and past President of the William Alanson White Psychoanalytic Society. She is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Psychoanalysis and on the Editorial Board of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Dr. Little is in private practice in the West Village, New York.
