| WELCOME
TO THE WAWI SPEAKERS BUREAU
We are a group of informed, experienced and highly resourceful speakers
who are available to talk with lay and professional organizations
about most aspects of human behavior and experience.
We
are also available for interviews and panel discussions with print,
radio and television.
The
Speakers Bureau is part of WAWI OUTREACH whose objective
it is to develop links with local, state, national and international organizations
so that we can share what we know with others in need of our expertise.
Attention
Residency Directors
|
Our
speakers are available to present at your Grand Rounds on topics
that may be of interest to your residents. In addition to specific
topics, (e.g. eating disorders, substance abuse) we would also be
available to provide instructions or case discussions. We are particularly
interested in discussing how interpersonal psychoanalysis and interpersonal
psychiatry, as first developed by one of our founders, Harry Stack
Sullivan, M.D. can be an important skill in confronting the clinical
problems facing today’s psychiatrists and clinicians.
