Small Group Supervision

Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program (CAPTP)

register todayThis is a new opportunity being offered by the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program. They are small clinical supervision groups for all licensed mental health professionals doing individual psychotherapy with children and adolescents. Participants will take turns presenting cases. The aim is to provide a sample of the kind of therapeutic approach and clinical teaching that our program offers. The group leaders will facilitate discussion and maintain a respectful group process. The group discussion will highlight some of the key elements of an interpersonal/relational approach, including conceptualizing the child in context, utilizing countertransference data, and creating new emotional experience through play. This spring there will be three groups to chose from.
