More Simply Human...
Harry Stack Sullivan famously wrote that "everyone is much more simply human than otherwise." Honoring this important idea about how we are all more alike than different, even if we suffer from painful or disorganizing problems in living, the 2012-2013 White Society Colloquium Series will focus on those inspiring clinicians who present their work with their patients with the greatest compassion and understanding, and who are most open to their own humanness in their work, writing simply, openly, and humanely, and with deep consideration for the people they treat. These are the writers who inspire us to be better.
All prgorams will be held at the William Alanson White Institute. Refreshments will be served at 7:30 PM and after presentations. Presentations start at 8:00 PM.
