The White Institute’s Interpersonal approach to psychoanalytic training provides a uniquely different experience of the supervisory dyad. Listen to an experienced analyst and her supervisee describe how they collaborate.
The Institute’s Certificate Program in Psychoanalysis offers an immersive four-to-six year educational training in the theoretical concepts and clinical methods of psychoanalytic treatment of adults, based in the Interpersonal psychoanalytic perspective.
Deborah Fraser, PhD, Training and Supervising Analyst will lead the evening joined by Naomi Snider LLB, LLM, Fourth Year Candidate.

Deborah Fraser, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst. She is Director of Curriculum at William Alanson White Institute where she is also a Training and Supervising Analyst as well as teaching faculty. She has a private practice on the Upper West Side in NYC.
Naomi Snider, LLB, LLM, is a fourth year candidate in the William Alanson White Institute's certificate program in psychoanalysis and a research fellow at NYU’s Steinhardt school of culture, education and human development. Naomi’s writing and research focuses on the intersections of social injustice and psychological struggle. Her published works include the 2018 book Why Does Patriarchy Persist? Co-authored with Carol Gilligan.
