This paper describes three years of work with a young Mexican-American girl that began after she reacted with panic to a change in her mother's work schedule. The impact of immigration status on the family will be discussed as it relates to the treatment. Some of the issues existed prior to 2016 and others were exacerbated by our current political reality.
