One Year Comprehensive Program

This one year course of study is a 33 week (53 class hours) program combining didactic and clinical seminars, guest lectures, case conferences, and the option for individual or group case consultation. Its aim is to provide a concentrated, practice-oriented educational experience to mental health professionals who want to use interpersonal/relational perspectives in working with people who have eating disorders, compulsions, or addictions.

The program will focus on integrating principles of interpersonal psychoanalysis with other treatment modalities. Courses will examine the interplay between culture, affect regulation, interpersonal neurobiology, gender, attachment and compulsive behaviors across problems with body image, disordered eating, substance abuse, exercise, internet, and relationship addiction.

Classes are held on Fridays from 2:00-3:30 PM and will begin on September 14th, 2012.
